Are you freaking out over your essay due next week? If you are anything like me, you may have about three essays due every week. That was (no exaggeration) my senior year college life. One of my professors and he was my favorite professor, had us read two articles, annotate them, and write a five-page (each) essay over them. If you had more than five mistakes on the essay, you got a zero on the assignment. I needed something quick because I know my schedule could not fit in an actual tutorial session. Fortunately, I found something, Grammarly helped my life.
What. The. F#%$!.
At the time, I worked as a bartender/server, had an internship, and was taking 18 hours in school. I had no idea how I was going to get through that time in my life.
This is when I thank YouTube ads because I remembered seeing ads for a thing called Grammarly. Honestly, I did not know if it was legit or not. It sounded too good to be true; however, I knew with all of my essays and my new internship as a Sales Coordinator I needed to improve my grammar, and it was not the best. Before you know it, Grammarly helped my life.
Grammarly helped me graduate college, so yes, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! And remember, I will never recommend anything I do not use or believe in.
You’re probably tired of me telling you my story behind Grammarly, and you’re wondering what the heck it is! Well, friends, I had to give you my background information, because it has genuinely helped me (I am not joking Grammarly helped my life) and I know it can help you especially if you struggle with writing.
Many times people go to tutoring sessions or have their peers who have a fantastic skill set in English/writing/grammar. I am not saying do not do that; I still think that is a great idea. However, I also believe Grammarly will be ideal for your success.
With each sentence you write, actually with each word you write, your Grammarly “virtual assistant” checks each word and each punctuation to make sure it is accurate.
But wait! There is more. Grammarly also gives you word suggestions like a built-in Thesaurus. Isn’t that freaking amazing? Let’s talk about versatility with your writing.
One impressive feature with Grammarly that I used to have downloaded on my work computer in college had the shortcut on my web browser, and it was linked to my email and other areas on my laptop, so while I wrote emails (and more), Grammarly was editing my work.
Once you leave this page, do it. Look up Grammarly, but instead of going through the hassle of googling it, I have linked it in the blog post so it will be so easy to check out Grammarly for yourself.
For ALL of my college friends I know you’re going to love it and utilize it frequently and I think it is an excellent investment for you. It is all about success remember.
Now for my college grads, yes you can definitely use Grammarly too! I am a college grad, and I still use Grammarly. Every single day. So again, yes it is worth it!
I feel like I just gave you all the fantastic information, so I am going to leave it there. However, I am giving you all a detailed tutorial on Grammarly, so be on the lookout and make sure you follow me on my socials to see what the next Grammarly post is all about.
