Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had an amazing week. Honestly, this has been a great week for me, and it has been one of the best weeks I have had in such a long time. It gets hard not working in your dream job and being happy about it. So, anytime I have a fantastic week it is golden! With this great week coming to an end, I wanted to share with you guys some of my top inspirational quotes and my thoughts on them! These are some of my quotes to live by; they may look familiar because most of these are found on my Instagram, so with the quote I will put the IG picture I used it with.

What does this mean to you? Well, to me…anytime you feel like you are obligated to do something or you a forced to do something that does not bring you joy and happiness you are somewhat of a slave to that specific thing. People are uncomfortable with the word slave but don’t be, it is a part of American history, and with this quote, I will be using it a lot.
The word slave means: (1) a person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them (2) work excessively hard
In today’s time, a lot of people do not live their dream job, but they are obligated to do what gives them money so that they can survive. They are a slave to their job in a sense. Honestly, you really have to open your mind to grasp the concept of this quote from Dr. Dyer. It really captured me and motivated me personally, to not be a slave to the world and stop living life with the sense of obligation.

From one of the real first socialites and reality tv stars herself the Paris Hilton. She is right. If everyone loves you, you are not doing something right. The most successful people have the most haters. When you are doing well, people envy you, and they don’t know you.
For example, former President Barack Obama was well hated by maybe half of the United States. He is a successful (literally an) African American male in the United States of America, well educated, and the first Black President, so he was well hated by thousands who did not even know him.
The day I have a few haters and people not liking me because I am a successful blogger (dream job), I know I am becoming my best.

I personally believe in being strong mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. It is the only way to truly survival, I feel. I want to be a positive influence on many people, not just the ones I know personally, but all over the world. That is why I so passionate about my blog and it becoming successful. I want my voice heard because I never know who it could help.
I may not have a BOLD image, but it is my image, and that is bold enough. I love dressing how I feel and expressing myself, and I think it is so important to be comfortable with who YOU are inside and out.
And as for being sweet and salty, that describes me perfectly. I am one of the nicest people out there. I hate bullies! Although, I don’t like confrontation I am not afraid of it, ONLY because in life things will happen and you have to know how to stick up for yourself, and that is not something that I was always good at doing.

I think you all know why I love this quote by the great I love Lucy Star, Lucille Ball. Self-love is so important! When you start loving yourself and believing in yourself everything else will just happen. People can easily tell when you don’t love yourself and at times, that can make it harder for others to show you, love. It affects your relationships, negatively. So, please, start loving yourself you are beautiful. That is something you can NEVER forget.

Now, this quote is SO PERSONAL for me and I can COMPLETELY IDENTIFY with it. This quote by Skylar Grey was my exact life earlier this year. It is so accurate! Early this year, I felt like a failure. In my mind I was not winning with my personal life, my professional life was horrible, and my creative life was lacking. I was depressed. I was not myself at all, and it was miserable. I cried more than then I did in probably ten years (I don’t normally cry).
Now, as of today, I am so happy I went through that time because I would not be writing this post write now and my blog nor my brand will be where it is today. Going through my slight depression helped me. I started taking e-courses and focusing on my blog, I started working out again, and before you know it, I actually started to become happier.

Do you consider song lyrics apart of the inspirational quotes category? I just love this song by Justine Sky. It is relatable for a lot of women. Women are always holding it down, but no matter what we can and we will hold it down for ourselves. You never forget your worth! This song lyric/quotes helps me remember, I can hold it down on my own, and I am not dependent on anyone. I can do it.

I was just telling my brother yesterday; it doesn’t matter how different someone is from you. This may be one of the most important inspirational quotes that I share with you. It could easily save a life (If you live by this quote).
